Providence Children's Museum - Drop-In Programs

There's a different hands-on activity happening every day at the Museum!

Most Providence Children's Museum programs are planned to accommodate a wide range of ages and abilities and can easily be adapted or extended.  While the calendar recommends specific ages for some programs, older or younger children are welcome to try most activities. Check the calendar for upcoming activities, and learn more about some regular programs below.

Play and Learn

Play and Learn

Play and Learn is the Museum’s open-ended story-based program especially for 2- to 4-year-olds and their parents, designed to help preschoolers build their skills in a variety of areas and to help parents continue the learning at home. Try different fun-filled activities in Littlewoods each week!  Check the calendar for details about each week's programs.
