Providence Children's Museum - Classes for Children

Daily Drop-in Programs

Ages vary by program

There's a different hands-on activity happening every day at Providence Children's Museum!

Preschoolers will love exploring during Play and Learn and Preschool Friday programs. Kids ages 5 to 11 can drop into the FETCH! Lab, a hands-on activity station based on the PBS series "FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman™" to tackle creative math and science challenges.

Preschool Friday Series

Fridays 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM (30-minute classes)

For children ages 3 - 5

Fridays are the best day of the week for preschoolers! In weekly sessions, children hear stories, meet animals and celebrate the seasons with music, crafts and treats. Preschool Friday provides children with an engaging, age-appropriate learning experience led by the Museum's early childhood educator. Classes are designed to promote independence, flexible thinking and originality. Parents and caregivers are active participants in the learning process, observing their children in a stimulating educational environment that supports young learners in a fun and nurturing way. Check the calendar for specific program activities or download an activity schedule and registration form below.
