Providence
Children's Museum offers engaging age-appropriate learning activities
directed by Museum staff and special guests. Check the age range on
each activity to determine which programs are best for your children
and your schedule.
All programs, unless otherwise noted, are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are free with Museum admission of $6.50. Museum members are always free!

Global Games 3:00 - 5:00 PM
Ages 5 - 11
Kids play games of skill like zitterwackel and kudoda with sticks and
stones in the Story Center.

Preschool Friday Series 9:10 AM - 1:40 PM
Scienterrific*
Ages 3 - 5
Preschoolers hear “Who Sank the Boat” by Pamela Allen and learn how to
make their sinkers float!
*30-minute sessions. Pre-registration is
recommended.
Walk-in registration on a space available basis for an $8 fee above the
price of admission. Series runs through June 6. Next 8-week
series begins June 13. Fee is $55 per child for
members and $130 for non-members (includes a two person Museum

Wonderful
World of Worms 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Ages 5 - 11
Worms rule the Museum as kids investigate a worm's life, get
their hands dirty digging for worms, and explore a wormy habitat.
Children wear worm suits to squirm through a maze and watch the
wigglers wriggle through compost bins. Families learn everything
there is to know about worms on this day dedicated to the crawling
creatures that toil in the soil.
