Providence Children's Museum offers engaging age-appropriate learning activities directed by Museum staff and special guests. Check the age range on each activity to determine which programs are best for your children and your schedule.
All programs, unless otherwise noted, are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are free with Museum admission of $6.50. Museum members are always free!

Autumn Welcome Preschool Friday Series 9:10 AM - 1:40 PM
Ages 3 - 5
Fridays are for preschoolers at the Children's Museum. The 8-week fall series of weekly 30-minute sessions begins with the exploration of apples. Three to five-year-olds and their grown-ups discover the star inside the apple, create apple people, and make and taste applesauce. Pre-registration is recommended. Walk-in registration on a space available basis for an $8 fee over the cost of admission. Series runs through November 30. The FETCH! Lab is a new science-based activity station. Today, kids throw their weight around during experiments that reveal that keeping your balance is trickier than you think.
