More about TEETH!
From "Grandmother, what big teeth you have" to Jaws, teeth
fascinate children. TEETH! builds on this fascination to promote childrens
awareness of the importance of taking care of their own teeth. Featuring a
giant mouth wearing size 28 hightops, this exhibit makes dental health fun.
Children brush the huge teeth with oversized toothbrushes, examine x-rays,
peer into the jaws of carnivores and herbivores, and discover tooth truths.
They find out what is really happening as their adult teeth emerge and what
kids all over the world do with their baby teeth. A book nook contains carefully
chosen fact and fiction about teeth and tooth care as well as take-home resource
material for parents.
TEETH! is recommended for children age 5 to 8 and their adult
friends for maximum understanding and interest. Younger and older children
also enjoy many of the exhibits interactive elements. Exhibit educators
are on hand to encourage fun and learning.
