Life is a Carnival
Come Play With Us!

Friday, April 9, 2010
At Providence Children’s Museum

Providence Children’s Museum presents “Life is a Carnival” on Friday, April 9 from 6:30 PM to 12 midnight at the Museum (100 South Street in Providence).  Over 300 Museum supporters are expected to enjoy this festive and fun evening, featuring an elaborate silent auction, marching bands, performing artists and games, with upscale carnival fare and cocktails by Blackstone Catering.

Sponsorships start at $1,500; individual tickets are $100.  All proceeds benefit the Museum’s Play Works Campaign for Kids and will fund two exciting new play and learning environments opening in the Museum’s Children’s Garden in June.  Funds raised by March 31 will also help the Museum achieve a $150,000 challenge grant from the prestigious Kresge Foundation.

“Life is a Carnival” is co-chaired by Margaret and Brian Batting, Stacy and Brett Carlson, Wendy and Tim Froggatt, and Kim Nathanson and Jeff Arsenault.  The event is supported by CVS Caremark.  Visit www.childrenmuseum.org for an up-to-date list of additional sponsors.

For tickets, donations, sponsorship and other information contact Kristen Haffenreffer Moran at (401) 273-5437 ext. 221 or khm@childrenmuseum.org or visit www.childrenmuseum.org.
