‘Big Kids’ Play On at
at Providence Children’s Museum

On Saturday, June 11, Providence Children's Museum welcomed 178 enthusiastic “big kids” to Play On!, its third annual night out just for grown-ups – no kids allowed!  The playful event netted $6,000 to benefit the Museum’s imaginative exhibits and programs, and raised awareness of the importance of play for children’s healthy development.

Guests rediscovered the power of play as they explored the Museum’s vibrant hands-on exhibits, discovered creative hands-on activities, showed off their vocal stylings in a karoke lounge, posed in a funny photo booth, competed in contests and tried their luck at raffles, and sampled food truck fare.

The Museum gratefully acknowledges event sponsors Amica Insurance, Nortek, Inc., Collette and Cox Communications as well as food and beverage partners Campus Fine Wines, Mama Kim's Korean BBQ, Mijos Tacos and Sarcastic Sweets for their support.
