Providence Children's Museum - Work-Study

If you are eligible for off-campus federal work-study through your college or university, you may be able to work at the Museum. Depending upon your school’s requirements, most of our volunteer positions can be completed for work-study hours. Work-study positions include:

Play Guide

  • Engage children and adults in hands-on exhibits
  • Play, explore and facilitate positive learning experiences
  • Gain experience working with children of all ages
  • Learn about child development and informal education
  • The Museum looks for people who enjoy working with children and who are friendly, outgoing, organized, responsible, mature, punctual, able to communicate clearly and patiently, and able to work well with peers and supervisors.
